In November of 2010, I took a class with Harriet Hargrave.
I'm not really sure exactly what happened, but I was just in a place where I was SO open to what she had to say.
You see, with Harriet Hargrave, quilting isn't just a hobby, it's a passion...a lifestyle...an extension of who she is as a person. (I hope I'm not being presumptuous to say that.)
And, I find that I'm starting to feel that way...like quilting is more that just a hobby.
So, I've made a commitment to work through Harriet's Quilter's Academy books and blog about it.
Volume 1 and 2 have already been released and there are four more volumes planned.
There are others that are working through her book and blogging about it and you can find links to their blogs at my other site.
I also have a friend that wants to learn Harriet's methods along with me, and I have a group of ladies (from my first beginning quilter's class) that I may have to infect with Harriet's philosophy as well.
I truly believe that I can become a Master Quilter! So, follow along with me and see how I do.
